Austin McIntosh, Assistant Principal

Austin McIntosh has been with GPS since 2018 and is excited to begin his second year as an administrator and continue making a positive impact on student growth and development. Austin is passionate about all things sports, family, dogs, and the outdoors, and brings that same energy and enthusiasm into his work with students every day.

At Canyon Valley, we are dedicated to academic success while fostering a strong sense of Lion Pride in every student. Our school offers an excellent opportunity for students who want to accelerate their learning and earn credits more quickly than at traditional comprehensive high schools. By recognizing each student’s unique learning style and individual needs, we are committed to meeting them where they are and helping them build a solid foundation for long-term growth.

As the assistant principal, Austin is committed to supporting students throughout their academic journey in any way possible. He truly enjoys getting to know each student by name and learning about their interests outside of school, something the smaller Canyon Valley campus makes possible and meaningful.
